In two days, the three men committed three crimes in a row, stealing 40,000 cash, 20,000-worth of jewelry, two laptops, one tablet computer, two watches and nearly 10,000 yuan of shopping cards.
After succeeding, the three men left a watch, and all other property was sold for nearly 100,000 yuan in cash for equal share. After getting the money, Luo thought that he was "not here" and wanted to go to work in other places, while Xi and Cheng flew from Nanjing to Macau to squander gambling and returned to their hometown after losing all their savings.
At about 16 o’clock on March 21, the police handling the case got clues, found the traces of Xi and Cheng in Guangdong, and immediately went to Guangdong to arrest them, but they did not expect them to leave first. The police who missed the air continued to track down. On March 22, the suspects Xi and Cheng were arrested on the spot in a hotel in Guangzhou. Luo, who fled to other places to commit crimes, was arrested by the local public security organs.
