1. Check and judge whether the target door meets the requirements for installing fingerprint lock.
First, check the type of the target door, and then whether the effective installation width of the location where the lock is installed reaches the width of the lock body of the fingerprint lock, and whether the final effect of the installation scheme can be accepted by customers. 2. Measure several main parameters of the old lock on the door.
This paper mainly measures the size of the locking tongue limit piece (side decorative plate) of the old lock of the original door, including the length, width, the position of fixing screws (the distance between the center point of the screw hole and the horizontal and vertical sides) and the number of fixing screws (one up and down or one pair up and down), and then measures the door thickness and determines the direction of the door (divided into four types: left inside, left outside, right inside and right outside). 3. Remove the original lock
After determining the material and specifications of the original door and the relevant parameters of the original lock and preparing to install accessories, first remove the original lock and keep it in a box. 4. Install the new lock body and lock core.
After removing the old lock body, install the lock body of the fingerprint lock, hang up the heaven and earth poles, and then fix them with screws. And use special screws to insert, tighten and fix the lock cylinder from the side. After the lock is fixed, insert the key into the lock cylinder and turn the lock cylinder to test whether the lock body can be opened and whether the lock is normal.
5. Install the front and rear panels
First, install the handles of the front and rear panels, pay attention to the direction when installing, and don’t forget to use the spring pad when installing the screws, so as to prevent the handle screws from loosening after long use. Install the front panel to the door first. When installing, connect the lock body wire with the lock body control wire plug on the front panel. Then insert the battery wire into the door through the upper fixing screw hole and extend out. Insert two square bars into the front and rear bar holes of the lock body. When inserting, select a square bar with an appropriate length according to the door thickness.
After the front panel is installed, keep it still and install the back panel immediately. When installing the rear panel, please pay attention to first connect the battery box wires with the plugs of the battery wires of the front panel. And plug the excess thread into the door body. When installing the rear panel, pay attention to that the connecting rod piece of the anti-lock button should be inserted into the anti-lock button control hole of the lock body, and the square bar should also be inserted into the square bar hole of the handle. Make sure that the square bar spring is installed.
6. Check whether the handle and bolt are working normally, and check whether the bolt hole of the door frame is appropriate.
After installation, turn the handle inside and outside the door, check whether the locking bolt of the lock body works normally and whether the handle returns smoothly, and test whether the anti-lock button works normally. If it is abnormal, loosen the screw to adjust the position and height of the lock, and then tighten the screw after it is normal.
Check whether the door frame hole is normal, stand on the inside of the door, close the door, and lift the handle to see if the lock tongue can be inserted into the lock tongue hole on the door frame smoothly. If it is not suitable, use tools to correct it.
7. Initialize the fingerprint lock and enter the administrator’s fingerprint.
Generally, there is no fingerprint, password or card entered in the new fingerprint lock. However, before using it, it is better to enter the management mode and run the initialization operation to ensure that the lock settings are restored to the factory default values and the original data is cleared. After the initialization is completed, enter the user’s administrator fingerprint and other information.
8. Overall debugging
After the entry is completed, do comparison and unlocking tests, and test whether the lock works normally.
