  At present, the semi-automatic smart lock is usually powered by four dry batteries, and the direction of the positive and negative poles is generally marked in the battery slot. Do not make it upside down to ensure that the four batteries are powered in series. If you encounter a battery cell with no marked positive and negative poles, you need to observe the length of the springs on both sides. The side with more springs is the negative pole, and the side with less springs is the positive pole. Many customers have installed it backwards.

  Secondly, if it still doesn’t work, check whether there is liquid leakage in the battery compartment of the rear panel. See if the power supply can be normal after removing the leakage.

  Finally, when the above two situations are tried, the problem is still not solved. You can use USB emergency power supply to test whether the motherboard works normally. Connect the Android phone charger to the patch panel, connect the USB charging cable, and plug the charging cable into the USB interface of the smart door lock. Under normal circumstances, the door lock will be powered on immediately. If the door lock is still not powered on, it indicates that there is a problem with the motherboard. It is recommended to contact after-sales inspection and maintenance.

  Some smart locks with mobile APP to open the door will have the problem that the screen cannot be operated after replacing the battery. This is caused by the loss of data and the automatic restoration of factory settings during the battery replacement of the door lock. But if the power is normal, the "#" key on the screen will light up. At this time, it is necessary to re-connect the mobile phone with the door lock according to the instructions.

  The spare key of the smart lock is not for display, so be sure to put one away from home. In this way, even if there is something wrong with the electronic part of the smart lock, the door lock can be opened normally with the mechanical key.
